Lead Product Designer
Brightloom is creating an entirely new category of software-as-a-service for consumer brands -- the Customer Growth Platform. This first-of-its-kind platform enables automated digital engagement and personalized loyalty programs to transform customer experiences while delivering predictable and repeatable lifetime value growth for brands.
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Lead Product Designer to lead the product management and user experience optimization efforts for our ambitious AI project. This role involves driving the design and development of a sophisticated AI-powered tool tailored for consumer brand operators. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product design, a deep understanding of AI and data-driven products, and experience in managing complex, user-centric technology projects.
This is not a support role: you will be hands-on; leading the design strategy and executing user experience designs by collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Scientists. As the Lead Designer on the team, you should be able to understand business requirements, and consumer demand alike; by utilizing user-centered design processes, systemic thinking, and interaction design principles to create and launch simple, elegant solutions.
What You’ll Do:
Oversee the end-to-end product management of the AI tool, including concept development, design, implementation, and launch.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including engineers, data scientists, and marketing) to ensure the product vision is realized effectively.
Lead the design of a user-friendly interface for the AI tool, working closely with the Engineering team to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
Collaborate with Product Managers and leadership on defining product vision, setting timelines and milestones for different phases of the project.
Prioritize product features and functionalities based on user value, business impact, and technical feasibility.
Lead testing and iteration cycles to refine the AI tool based on feedback and data analysis.
Act as the key point of contact for all product-related communications, presenting updates and strategic decisions to stakeholders.
*Qualified candidates must include an online or PDF portfolio with their application*
8+ years of experience in product design and management, preferably in AI, data analytics, or related fields.
Strong understanding of user research, user experience design, interface design, and user-centered design principles.
Proficiency with design and prototyping tooling such as Figma.
Excellent cross-functional collaboration, communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Passion for emerging technologies and their application in solving real-world business problems.
Success delivering product/service in a high-growth environment, exhibiting strong ability to identify and solve ambiguous customer-focused problems
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Product Design, Human–Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field.

At Brightloom, we are working to create meaningful relationships between people and the brands they love. Our Customer Growth Platform (CGP) offers a first-of-its-kind SaaS approach to automated AI-driven, predictive personalization. Previously, these types of capabilities were exclusive to larger brands who have entire teams of people focused on marketing and customer analytics. The CGP is built upon proprietary models that show and tell brands what to do next, so they don’t have to hire teams to build models, guess at rules, run experiments, and then interpret the results. The CGP models do this work, so the marketer doesn’t have to. We’re obsessed with taking something that’s really hard, complicated, and expensive and turning it into a service that’s simple and affordable for all consumer brands, not just industry leaders.
